xcountry. here's the email i just sent bmw:I would like to inform you that i have had a problem with my brand new bmw g650 xcountry 2009. I bought it in orlando in november 2008 but have it serviced at eurocycles in odessa florida closer to where i live. In May it started stalling when the engine was cold.
The G 650 Xcountry is also quite unique in technical terms, the telescopic fork still offering ample and relatively smooth wheel travel requiring a mere 240 millimetres or 9.45´´ overall
When the X-series singles debuted in 2006. the engine was only a slightly-updated take on the liquid-cooled 650 four-stroke that BMW had been selling since the late 1990s, with DOHC and four-valve heads. Max output was 52 hp at 7,000 rpm and 44 lb-ft of torque at 5,250 rpm; a five-speed gearbox was standard.

The G 650 GS, which was reintroduced into Australia in April, 2009, replacing the previous "G" 650cc manifestations -- the G 650 Xcountry, Xchallenge and Xmoto machines - is powered by a 652cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel injected engine, producing 50hp (37kW) and 60Nm. There's a five-speed gearbox and 14-litre fuel tank, housed under the seat.
